Findry (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Findry mobile application.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and optionally your company name.

Field Records: We store the records you create — including measurements, notes, photos, categories, and reference points — so you can retrieve them later. We do not collect your location or access your device’s GPS at any time.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to:

    •    Provide and maintain the Findry app

    •    Authenticate your account securely

    •    Store your field records on your device and, for Pro users, in secure cloud storage via Firebase

    •    Send password reset emails when requested

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Findry does not display advertisements.

DATA STORAGE

Free Plan users: Your data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.

Pro Plan users: Your data is additionally backed up to Firebase (Google Cloud), a secure cloud storage service.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Findry uses Firebase (provided by Google) for authentication and cloud storage for Pro users. Firebase’s privacy policy is available at firebase.google.com.

DATA RETENTION

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the App through the Account Settings screen. Account deletion is immediate and permanent.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Findry is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
