Welcome to Findry, a mobile application developed and operated by Kaymer LLC (“Findry,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you when using the Findry mobile application and related services.
By creating a Findry account or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

When you create a Findry account, we collect the information necessary to create and secure your account, including:

This information is created entirely by you and remains under your control.

You may attach photos to your records.
These photos are:
Stored locally on your device as managed image files.
Referenced by the record information stored by the App.
Used only to help you document and locate construction work.
Findry does not intentionally read or store GPS location metadata (EXIF location information) from your photos.
Findry does not upload your record photos to cloud backup at this time.

Subscription Information
If you subscribe to Findry Pro, we use RevenueCat to manage subscription status.
Depending on your platform, RevenueCat may receive information necessary to verify your subscription, including:
A unique account identifier
Subscription status
Purchase history related to your Findry subscription
Product identifiers
Transaction status
Findry does not receive or store your payment card information.
Payments are processed securely by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect only to provide, improve, and maintain the Findry experience.
Specifically, we use your information to:
Create and manage your Findry account.
Authenticate your identity securely.
Provide access to your projects and field records.
Save and organize your construction documentation.
Synchronize eligible data for Findry Pro cloud backup features.
Verify and manage your Findry Pro subscription.
Send email verification messages.
Send password reset emails when requested.
Respond to customer support requests.
Improve the reliability, stability, and security of the App.
We do not use your personal information for advertising or marketing profiling.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

3. FINDRY PRO & SUBSCRIPTIONS
Findry offers optional paid subscriptions through Findry Pro.
Subscriptions provide access to additional features, including cloud backup and other Pro functionality available at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device.
Billing
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when your purchase is confirmed.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
Managing Your Subscription
You can manage, change, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings.
If you reinstall the app or switch devices using the same store account, you may restore your eligible subscription through the Restore Purchases option available within the App.

4. DATA STORAGE & CLOUD BACKUP
Findry uses both local device storage and secure cloud services depending on your subscription level.
Free Plan
For Free users:
Projects and records are stored locally on your device.
Photos remain stored locally on your device.
Cloud backup is not available.
If your device is lost, damaged, or reset, locally stored information may not be recoverable.

Photos
Record photos are not currently included in cloud backup.
Photos remain stored locally on the device where they were captured or imported.
If you restore your cloud backup on another device, your project and record information can be restored, but photos must still exist locally on the original device to remain available.

5. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
Findry requests only the permissions necessary to provide its intended functionality.
Camera
If you choose to take photos within Findry, the App requests access to your device’s camera.
Camera access is used solely to capture photos for your field records.

If you choose to attach existing photos, Findry requests permission to access your photo library.
This permission is used only to allow you to select photos that you choose to attach to your records.
Findry does not save photos back to your photo library.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
To operate securely and reliably, Findry uses trusted third-party service providers.

7. DATA RETENTION
We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide the Findry services or as required by applicable law.
Account Information
Your account information is retained while your account remains active.
Project & Record Information
Your projects and records remain available until you choose to delete them or delete your account.
For Findry Pro users, eligible cloud-backed data remains securely stored until it is removed by you or your account is deleted.
Photos
Photos attached to your records remain stored locally on your device unless you delete them or remove the App from your device.
As described above, photos are not currently included in Findry’s cloud backup service.

8. ACCOUNT DELETION
You may permanently delete your Findry account at any time from the Account Settings screen within the App.
When you delete your account:
Your Firebase authentication account is permanently deleted.
Your Findry cloud data associated with your account is permanently deleted.
Your locally stored project and record information is removed from the App.
Managed photo files stored by Findry on your device are removed as part of the account deletion process.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

9. DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect your information.
These measures include secure authentication, encrypted communication where applicable, and access controls designed to help safeguard your information.
While we work to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. For this reason, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES
You remain in control of your information while using Findry.
You may:
Update your account information.
Change your password.
Update your email address.
Delete projects and records.
Delete your account permanently.
Manage or cancel your Findry Pro subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account.
Contact us with questions regarding your privacy or personal information.

11. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Findry is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices.
When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date shown at the top of this Privacy Policy.
Your continued use of Findry after any updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
